Transmission Electron Microscopy (Embed 812 Plastic Embedded)

Fixation, dehydration, embedment, only Ultra thin sectioning (staining no extra charge)
Sectioning typically requires 1/2 to 1 hour per sample block.
Serial sectioning or special orientation issues will increase time$50/hr
Transmission electron microscope photography $50/hr Summary: A typical TEM experiment with 1 experimental sample and 1 control sample runs approx. $300 before scope time. Scope usage is too variable to predict.
Immuno Transmission Electron Microscopy (Lowicryl Embedded)
$200/sample Fixation, dehydration, embedment into Lowicryl only Ultra thin sectioning $50/hr Sectioning typically requires 1 to 1 1/2 hours per sample block.

*All primary antibodies, and supporting documentation to justify running EM Immuno experiments such as florescence results, gel results, background literature etc must be supplied by researcher prior to conducting Immuno EM experiments. Please consult with EM facility regarding compatibility of EM facilities stock of secondary gold tagged antibodies during initial consultation. Specialty secondary abs not kept in EM facility must be purchased by researcher.
