Notice: Before using Microscopes you must receive training from Histology/Microscopy staff

Microscope Training Schedule
Training on the Axiovision software for Z3 and the Apotome will be held on the third Thursday of each month. Training for the Olympus dissecting microscope can be arranged during the same time
period.

Contact Howard Wynder at 747-1360 or hwynder@wustl.edu to schedule training.

Using the Microscopes

When using the microscopes please be sure to do the following:

1. Bring a memory stick (some are available) for data (we will be conducting non-Ethernet connection speed checks)
2. Clean oil off lenses
3. Turn Apotome computer off
4. Do not turn mercury lamps on and off
5. Don’t leave data on the desktop
6. Clean up after yourself
7. No GLOVES on the keyboards
8. No eating in the microscope labs
