Description of Services

The Histology and Electron Microscopy Core provides full technical services for morphological investigations in light, transmission, and scanning electron microscopy.

Unassisted use of equipment is available after training. Please consult with the facility manager, Howard Wynder (314-747-1360).

The Histology and Electron Microscopy Core also maintains four brightfield/fluorescence microscopes with digital cameras and a wide range of dry and oil immersion lenses. The microscopy suite also contains a digital Olympus Stereoscope with GFP and polarizing filters. They are available for individual use after an initial mandatory orientation.
