1) Your password may have changed. All known passwords have been transferred. Unknown passwords have been changed to the default password mbp-imaging. E.g., lab_rich's password has been replaced with mbp-imaging. For lab_rich to log on to any of the computer in the imaging facility, the user name lab_rich and password mbp-imaging must be used. As a rule of thumb, if your usual password fails to work, try mbp-imaging. If mbp-imaging failed to work page Philippe Breton (Computer Support) at 314-419-2124.
2) If you used the remote directory provided by soxs001 to store your images, it has been transferred to mbp-molecool. So now instead of storing images in soxs001 you will store them in the H drive put at your disposal for file storage in the area of your computer called MY COMPUTER.
SOXS001 is being demoted and mbp-molecool will soon takes the role of domain controller. Please find below how to access your remote account from a MAC or a PC, in-side or out-side the campus.
