Incoming Head of Department
lila

Lilianna (Lila) Solnica-Krezel has accepted the position as Head of the Developmental Biology Department. Lila is currently a Martha Rivers Ingram Professor of Developmental Genetics in the Departments of Biological Sciences, Cell & Developmental Biology and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This appointment has special significance as Lila will be the first woman to serve as the permanent Head of a Department at Washington University School of Medicine.(School of Medicine News Article) (Record Article) (Current labsite)
